Rob Foley. Co-Founder, CEO, Service Disabled Veteran
Rob was born and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. After college, he joined the U.S. Army and concurrently earned an MBA at Chaminade University of Honolulu, Hawaii. In later years, he also studied at the Asian Institute of Management (Manila).
Rob separated from the Army in 1997 with a service connected disability and, after working for several years with Pfizer, he spent two years seeking medical treatment. These efforts led to substantial debt. Recognizing the need to create a means to support himself, in June, 2002, Rob’s idea for Same Day Transcriptions was born.
In addition to lending support to disabled veterans... outside of work, Rob enjoys exploring new places, foods and cultures with his wife and three children. He also likes cooking, gardening, wine collecting, reading, sports, and working out while listening to what he is certain is the greatest band of all time - Led Zeppelin.
Rob resides in Florida with his wife, Anne, and their three children.

Anne O. Foley. Co-Founder
As co-founder of Same Day Transcriptions, Anne is self-taught in web development and design, graphics and ultimately, all things computer related. She is also a Microsoft-Certified Systems Engineer.
Anne enjoys cooking, gardening, photography and anything you might like to have decorated in your home! Oh yeah, and she speaks three languages too!
Anne resides in Florida with husband, Rob, and their three children.
Sharon Hoffman, VP, Finance
Sharon has over 27 years of experience managing a broad range of activities ranging from document management to supply chain/procurement support services and finance. Formerly with Corporate Lending at PNC Bank, Ms. Hoffman has held progressive responsibilities in operations and currently oversees the company finances.
Kay Darrow, Production Manager
Kay heads up our production department and coordinates work between our transcription teams and Client Service Managers. Kay herself has over 22 years of experience in project management for transcription companies, specializing in medical research transcription and conference transcription. She is a Certified Medical Transcriptionist and medical coder and has managed multi-specialty medical practices.
Precilla Roca, Accounts Manager
A licensed physical therapist, Precila joined Same Day Transcriptions in 2003 to head up the company’s medical transcription division. She now oversees our healthcare sciences division, which includes research transcription services, and medical transcription, the latter of which is now offered through sister transcription company, EHR Transcriptions.
Giving Back
As a VA Verified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, we are passionate about supporting U.S. troops, both active-duty and retired, especially the service disabled. We are also strong supporters of organizations whose mission is to help children in need.
Recently and ongoing, we:
- Are active with Little League and Cal Ripken baseball leagues in New Jersey and Florida, sponsoring, managing and coaching teams.
- Lend ongoing support to Habitat for Humanity.
- Partner with numerous nonprofit organizations to document memoirs of WWII veterans.
