Co-Founder, CEO, Robert J. Foley
Rob founded the company in 2002, along with wife, Anne. His business philosophy has roots from three major life experiences: the U.S. Army, Fortune 500 corporate world, and his own business start-ups.
Sprinkled among these pivotal life experiences was consultative work as a private marketing consultant, various small business ventures, and an MBA education. Together, they form the philosophy upon which Same Day Transcriptions has earned its success: be honest, honor promises, and above all, give the client what they need.
Prior to starting Same Day Transcriptions, Rob worked as a hospital consultant for pharmaceutical giant Pfizer. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and as a Service Disabled Veteran, remains an active supporter of our troops, both retired and active.
A native of New Jersey, Rob earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Managerial Economics at Lynchburg College in Virginia and later completed an MBA at Chaminade University of Honolulu, Hawaii. He has also studied abroad at the internationally acclaimed Asian Institute of Management.
Rob’s interests include cooking, gardening and coaching Little League baseball.
He resides in Florida with wife, Anne, and their three young children.
Co-Founder, Anne O. Foley
Anne founded the company in 2002, along with husband, Rob. She is a self-taught web development and design expert and a Microsoft-Certified Systems Engineer.
Anne’s work experience includes the management of websites for Sharp Electronics, Philippines and several major telecom and software firms in the US and Asia. Anne is fluent in three languages: English, Japanese and Filipino.
Born in the Philippines, Anne will seek her American citizenship later this year (2011). Her interests include cooking, gardening and photography.
Anne resides in Florida with husband, Rob, and their three young children.
COO, Joe Hoffman
Joe is responsible for managing Same Day Transcriptions’ day to day operations. He has over 25 years of experience in management, marketing and administration and served as a Vice President for Hill International, Inc (NYSE) for 13 years. He has had multi-million dollar responsibility managing programs for corporations and government agencies including projects at the World Trade Center following 911, the implementation of the EZ1040 application for OCR at the IRS, the management of a national consultant organization and the re-organization of the Project Management Division of the Port Authority of NY/NJ.
VP, Finance, Sharon Murray
Sharon has over 19 years of experience managing a broad range of activities ranging from document management to supply chain/procurement support services. Formerly with Corporate Lending at PNC Bank, Ms. Murray has had progressive responsibilities in administrative support services, and currently manages the company finances.
Production Director, Kay Darrow
Kay is responsible for daily work-flow and management of all ongoing projects. She has over 16 years experience in project management in transcription, specializing in wire tap and conference transcription. She is a Certified Medical Transcriptionist and medical coder and has managed multi-specialty medical practices.
Accounts Manager, Precilla Roca
A licensed physical therapist, Precila joined the company in 2003 to head up the company’s orthopedic transcription division. She now oversees all medical transcription and is pivotal in our current move to offer medical transcription services inside of an Electronic Medical Records systems. Precila’s 15 years of experience in healthcare has proved especially valuable to our clients who have elected to transition with us in to Electronic Medical Records.
Giving Back
We’re active in the community, both locally and nationwide. As a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, we feel especially strong about supporting U.S. troops, both active duty and retired, especially the service disabled. We also have a special place for children in need. Recently and ongoing:
- We are active with Little League and Cal Ripken baseball leagues in New Jersey and Florida, sponsoring, managing and coaching teams.
- Lend ongoing support to Habitat for Humanity.
- Partnering with numerous nonprofit organizations to document memoirs of WWII veterans.
- We are active supporters of numerous organizations that aim to support our military brethren. Please help us support those who protect our country.
